This review is long overdue. This was my first time receiving a facial so I was extremely hesitant about my first experience. Grace, however, is a rockstar! I did the Signature Facial which is a custom facial specific to your skincare needs. She made me feel comfortable and communicated effectively with me about the entire process. I love how knowledgeable and honest she was, which made me trust her tremendously. At first I wasn't sure if I could tell a difference in my skin afterwards, but my skin was GLOWING! My boyfriend (who notices everything) could even tell that I was radiating. My makeup applies more smoothly, my pores are smaller, and the dullness in my skin is gone. I've already recommended Serenity Spa to all of my coworkers & cannot wait for my next facial! Thank you so much again, Grace!

For seven years, Grace worked closely with a well-known holistic and esthetic dentist, in Westwood, CA, treating a high-profile clientele. Grace gained extensive experience in holistic health and applies this knowledge to her approach to skin care. Her in-depth experience with chemical peels and acne, enables her to provide a wide array of customized treatments for those who take skin care seriously.
Grace uses most innovative and advanced techniques, making her a specialist in facial rejuvenation and skin care. With new techniques and state of the art machines, Grace will be able to improve and enhance skin appearance and provide the necessary elements to achieve a healthier skin. Health and wellness have been my passion. Dr. Velarde enjoys working with people of all ages, and works with people to understand how beneficial lifestyle changes can make a difference in someone’s life.
Dr. Velarde wants to help people make that change, to live well, to feel better, and to achieve that inner beauty, which relies on good health inside the body. While many clients come to Serenity Medspa & Wellness to look better and feel younger, Dr. Velarde works with them to accomplish their goals, which often includes becoming healthier.
Having trained at UCLA, UT Houston, and Memorial Hermann, Dr. Velarde has ten years of experience in the medical field and has experience treating individuals of all ages and from all different backgrounds.
Dr. Velarde opened the Serenity Med Spa & Wellness to fulfill his passion to communicate with clients his vision of aesthetic improvement and well-being. He tailors treatments with the goals of enhancing facial features and skin – while also improving health and wellbeing.
